Stress is part of our daily lives, but can quickly get out of control, severely impacting our health and wellbeing.
Mental, physical and chemical stress can accumulate over time, and although our bodies are quick to adapt, they can often get overwhelmed. This results in stored muscle tension, causing all types of muscle and joint pain including backache and back pain, head pain, headaches, and more.

What is Body Stress Release?
Body Stress Release (BSR) is a gentle technique designed to “unlock” stored stress in the body and assist your body with its natural healing process.
BSR practitioners discover where your body is storing muscle tension and apply a light but precise pressure to certain points. The pressure stimulates these locations, encouraging the body to release the stored tension.
Body Stress Release is suitable for all, from babies to the elderly. You’ll be fully clothed and lying down during the session.

About Mandy
I’m a BSR practitioner working in the Clifton Park, Gillitts area of Durban.
My journey to becoming a practitioner started when I was a teenager with a love for horse riding. After many lessons and many falls, I had learned to ride, yet had set myself down a path of lower back pain, middle back pain and shoulder pain. I pursued various avenues to find relief, but it was only when I discovered Body Stress Release that I started experiencing pain free days.
BSR further helped me when medication for a serious illness was causing constant joint pain and peripheral neuropathy. Through regular sessions, I was able to maintain mobility and regain sensation in my hands and feet.
My experiences with BSR sparked a desire to share these benefits with others also experiencing body stress, through becoming a qualified BSR practitioner.
